Using Havening Techniques, Hypnotherapy, and Neuro-linguistic Programming, I guide clients through techniques to alleviate targeted event-specific stress, emotional distress, and overwhelm. Additionally, I provide positive coping strategies to my clients for their continued use in their self-management routines. I specialize in helping clients with stress and negative life events and additionally work with self-sabotage, fears, unwanted habits, behavior change, and goal setting/future vision. 

Through www.visionofhappiness.com sessions are conducted online using Zoom and are available worldwide. 

A little about me… I was born and raised in Gaborone, Botswana. I am a ‘third culture kid’ born to parents from both the United States and Zimbabwe. I spent high school in South Africa and college in the States. I love meeting new people and experiencing different cultures. I have also struggled with various health concerns throughout my life (Tourette Syndrome being the worst, OCD, anxiety, depression…) as well as various traumas. As anyone who has gone through similar things will know, it’s not easy. 

I stumbled upon hypnotherapy and decided to become a certified Hypnotherapist which quite literally changed my life. I found a passion and talent that I never knew existed, and experienced firsthand how powerful the mind really is. I am now managing the Tourette Syndrome 100% with hypnotherapy and I’ve never felt so free and in control. 

Through my training, I was introduced to both Havening Techniques and NLP. Again I experienced firsthand the effectiveness of these therapies. I found a particular love for Havening Techniques because of its ability to help clients through the toughest events of their lives. I am very passionate about impactful change and very lucky to help my clients create impactful change in their lives everyday.

Abuse Survivor

“I experienced a havening session with Em today and as an abuse survivor I was initially nervous about sharing certain information about a particular memory that has stayed in my head. I was aware that this memory was the cause of my feeling triggered on times. I had planned on using a less intense memory of a recent trigger but Em was kind and caring and was able to encourage me to go to the root cause.
